Thailand is in the Southeast of Asia, with Laos and Cambodia to the east and the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysianextto Burma (Myanmar) on its west. Loei Cultural Center




Located in Loei Rajabhat Institute, 5 kilometers from the city, on the Loei-Chiang Khan Road, the center features exhibits on indigenous culture and traditions of Loei. 
Loei Province Cultural Center was initiated with the objective of providing extensive information about the province including its past and the present. The entire center can be divided into three major sections. The fist section provides information about the past and present of the province including the general lives of local residents and their habits through a number of slide shows. The next section is primarily devoted to the existence of Buddhism in the province. Also present in this section are numerous utensils and other artifacts that were used by villagers in Loei. Visitors can feel enamored by the variety of masks that are worn by people during the all important Phi Ta Khon Festival. One can even gain information about the local customs, traditions and attires worn by the people of Loei during various festivals and events that are celebrated in the region. The third section contains items that provide overall information about the history, geography and ethnic groups of Loei.

The center remains open for visitors daily from morning 8.30 a.m. until evening 4.00 p.m. Admission into this center is free.
