Thailand is in the Southeast of Asia, with Laos and Cambodia to the east and the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysianextto Burma (Myanmar) on its west. The capital is Bangkok, the country's official language is Thai. In touristic resorts people also speak the English language. ประกาศศูนย์อุตุนิยมวิทยาภาคเหนือ ฉบับที่ 1 เรื่อง ฝนตกหนัก น้ำท่วมฉับพลัน และน้ำป่าไหลหลาก



ในช่วงวันที่ 13 – 17 กันยายน 2555 ร่องมรสุมที่พาดผ่านประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย มีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง
ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ประเทศไทยจะมีฝนตกชุกหนาแน่น และมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่งในภาคเหนือ ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากสภาวะอากาศดังกล่าวและติดตามข่าวพยากรณ์อากาศอย่างใกล้ชิดในระยะนี้
